An exciting leadership role at a well-known historic resort set in the heart of NH’s White Mountains; Cranmore’s offerings including daily resort activities year-round, real estate, newly developed condominium association, and ongoing $50 million dollar base area redevelopment.

 

The Property Manager is responsible for Kearsarge Brook property maintenance including general maintenance & repairs, housekeeping, landscaping, security, owner and renter liaison, vacation rental management, condo amenities (pool & fitness), and resort projects to be determined.  This position also works with Building Two (and future buildings) construction company to minimize construction interference with Building One owners and traffic project deliveries and on-site schedules.  As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.  This is a full time, year-round position with benefits including Medical/Rx, Dental, 401(k), Paid Time Off, resort perks & privileges, and numerous other supplemental benefits.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as owner and renter liaison; establishes positive relationships with owners and renters in order to provide exceptional guest service, meet business goals & objectives, and drive the resort vision.

  • Oversees maintenance of assigned properties up to resort/owner standards. Ensures all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.  Coordinates with owners the terms and conditions for providing property management services.

  • Manages on-site vacation rental program; this includes overseeing lodging staff.

  • Employs or contracts for services of security, maintenance/repairs, and groundskeeping personnel and onsite management personnel as needed.

  • Inspects condominium units, common areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance. Monitors the maintenance and upkeep of Kearsarge Brook buildings and Amenities building through daily and weekly inspection reports.

  • On assigned properties, act as the resort’s primary coordinator to assure that the resort’s efforts fully meet and exceed contractual property management obligations.

  • Responds to guest complaints and resolves problems in accordance with Cranmore Mountain Resort’s guest service standards.

  • Demonstrates a positive, professional and client-oriented attitude about the company with coworkers, tenants, clients and the public whether contact is by mail, telephone or in person. Constantly strives for improvements in work process and results to better meet guest/owner expectations.

  • Maintains complete and accurate property files and records, with an emphasis on documentation for future reference.

  • Maintains and enhances a guest focused culture in all areas of responsibility.

Job Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; three to five years property management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Computer skills including: Working knowledge of point of sale systems and/or rental reservation platforms, Windows based operating systems, Microsoft Office programs, and web-based applications. 

  • Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships between departments, with coworkers and particularly with other members of a project team.

  • Flexible schedule required.  This is a full time position with a minimum of 40-45 hours per week.  Hours vary based on season and business volumes.  The typical schedule is 5 days a week, 8-9 hours a day, between the hours of 7am and 9pm.  Weekends, holidays and vacation weeks are included. 24-hour on-call duties are required.  During peak business volumes, functions, and special events, evening hours may be extended.
