Snowsports School Support Staff (Ages 16+)

Job Responsibilities:
We are currently searching for friendly new faces to join our SnowSports team for the upcoming winter season that will be experienced, have a passion for skiing and snowboarding, and would like to share their passion with others while supporting our children's program staff.  We hire for attitude, and will provide training on all the rest!  It's about quality and providing an amazing experience for our guests while inspiring them to return again and again. 

Cranmore's legendary SnowSports School is well-known for providing fun, quality and safe ski & snowboard lessons for skiers & snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Our Terrain-Based Learning program has gained national media attention and sparked the interest of skiing and snowboarding in thousands of newcomers to the sport. We take pride in our SnowSports programs and our resort! If this sounds like a great fit for you, complete an application today to take the first step in joining our award-winning team.As a member of the SSS Support team, you may be asked to participate in a variety of tasks that help keep our operation running smoothly such as reporting to line-up at a scheduled time, meet and greet guests, assist with kids ski/boot rentals, teaching and improving basic skills, and participate in training clinics to improve your personal skills or teaching skills.

During peak times we need help greeting and directing guests, assisting with lunch set up and service, shuttling kids from Beginner Basin to the Children’s Center and back, or just being an extra set of hands. While the position does not require you to be skiing it does require both indoor and outdoor work.Position requires working weekends and vacation weeks when we are busiest.  This is a volume-based position, so you will be needed during our peak times (Christmas, Martin Luther King, & President’s Week) and Saturdays.
Job Qualifications:
-Must be outgoing and friendly; enjoy working with and helping people, especially children.
-Have the willingness to be flexible and work as a team is necessary.
-Must be able to make a commitment to the schedule as needed and work both inside and outside.
-Must be 16 years of age or older.
-Must be available during peak periods, which are: Christmas Week 12/23/19-01/03/20, Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend 01/18/20– 01/20/20, and President’s Week 02/17/20 – 02/21/20, as well as additional weekends as needed.
